This painting is within a small fir tree grove in Garrison, NY and is named after a nest of red-tail hawks whose inhabitants made lots of loud whistling noises. I worked with a cool palatte, trying my best to avoid green. Also, I endeavored to let the painting merge from cool to warm as a compositional scheme.

Printed at the Highland Studio on archival William Turner Watercolor paper with a 1/2" border for easy framing, this print is virtually indistinguishable from the original painting.
